Meet Dr Maddilyn Brown
Founder of The Nurture Haus | Advanced Paediatric Chiropractor (DACCP)
I am one of only 36 Advanced Paediatric Chiropractors in Australia, with a special interest in women’s health, pregnancy, and neurodevelopment in babies and children. I am Webster Certified through the ICPA and deeply passionate about supporting families through every stage of life.
As a Mackay local, my journey into chiropractic began at just 15 years old following my own experience recovering from a spinal fracture during gymnastics training—an experience that sparked a lifelong fascination with the body’s ability to heal and adapt.
My dedication to women’s health evolved through my own menstrual health journey, where navigating gaps in the healthcare system inspired me to pursue further education and research into hormonal health. Today, my goal is to share that knowledge and empower women through evidence-informed care and education.
After graduating from CQU in 2019, I began my career in Brisbane before relocating to rural Queensland during the COVID pandemic. It was here I witnessed a significant gap in accessible healthcare for women and children, which led me to pursue advanced postgraduate training in paediatrics. I was honoured to receive two scholarships supporting my Advanced Paediatric Chiropractic qualification, and since 2023, I have worked exclusively with women and children.
When I’m not in the clinic, you’ll find me weight lifting, practising aerial silks, or spending time with my loveable Staffy, Askari. I’m a serial ‘hobbiest’, always exploring something new to keep my curiosity and creativity alive.
I created The Nurture Haus to extend this approach beyond individual care—to be a space where women feel safe, calm, and truly heard. A place to learn about your body, explore your choices, and connect with others, even during times that may feel challenging. My hope is to nurture understanding, empowerment, and community, so that every woman and family who walks through our doors feels supported, informed, and confident in their journey.
My Approach
My approach is centred around gentle, personalised care that supports the nervous system and overall wellbeing.
I believe in looking beyond symptoms—considering your body, your environment, and your individual story to create care that truly supports you and your family.
